It seems BBC has been doing a few pieces on Colombia for the country’s bicentennial. There’s one video report on Bogotá here and another on Medellín here. Nothing extremely exciting about either but at least they are positive pieces of journalism.
Two little side notes. In the Bogotá report, one of the women says the lulo fruit is only found in Colombia, this is incorrect. In other countries it is called naranjito. In the Medellín report, they act like the Spain ‘library’ is some amazing thing when aside from its outward appearance, there’s not much going on inside. I put library in quotes because there are very few books inside, on par with Medellíns other 4 new ‘libraries’.
