A British teacher who was working and living in Colombia when he was paralyzed from the neck down after a diving accident, has been flown home. The 90,000 British Pounds required for the air-ambulance to fly him home was donated to him via complete strangers, mainly finding out about him through his Facebook Page. – BBC


In the struggling US economy, Juan Valdez’s NY flagship store will be closing its doors soon, although the other US locations will remain open. The US and Spain are two markets they wish to make their mark in yet both countries were hit hard by the crisis. – Colombia Reports


The government of Bogotá has launched a new tourism site called EsBogotá.com, aimed at giving web-savy tourists a taste of what they can look forward to when they visit Bogotá. The site is both in Spanish and in English. – Colombia News TV
