I stumbled across an interesting project from El Tiempo called “La Ciudad Jamás Contada“. In essence, it asked readers to submit short stories of their lives or rather an argument for why they should be chosen to be featured in the project. If they were chosen in the top ten, a well-known Colombian personality in the cultural arena would follow them around helping them to tell their story, while not influencing it with their own style or voice. The aim is to tell the stories of the people we all see on the street yet never know anything about, to give a voice to the average citizen of Bogotá.
Here’s a video description (in Spanish)
The link to the site on El Tiempo is here, which after choosing the year, you can get informed on the stories told and the project news through their blog and podcast, etc.
